Billy Jaffe

Happy to share the word that Billy Jaffe has been nominated for a New York Emmy for his rookie season work on Islander telecasts. (The nomination period is September 1 - August 31)

The 51st Annual New York Emmy® Awards will be presented at a special black tie gala on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at The Marriott Marquis ~ Times Square. (Ironically that's the last night of the NHL season).

I'm honored that I've worked directly with half the nominees in this category!

Forever1940 is the nom de plume of Eric Hornick. Eric has worked the Stanley Cup Finals four times, and celebrated his 26th anniversary as the statistician on Islander home telecasts on January 21, 2008.
