There's relatively little chance that the Isles will play in the last game of the 2009-2010 season, but they will play in the first -- their game on September 14th is the earliest pre-season game, based on the complete schedule released by the NHL this morning.
(Note that there are some time differences between this and what the Isles previously announced themselves. However, I think that the Isles may have the time right in Saskatoon. Those are listed as 7:00 local starts. While Saskatchewan is in the central time zone (the things you learn by reading Forever1940), they do not observe Daylight Savings Time, which would make these 9:00 NY time games.)
