Nystrom and Sutter visit Long Island

It could be the battle of the Dynasty relatives on Thursday when the Flames visit Long Island for the first time since January 12, 2006. Brad Shaw made his head coaching debut in that game, a 3-2 Isles victory, replacing a fired Steve Stirling.

Eric Nystrom faced the Isles last year in Calgary but will visit the Coliseum for the first time. Nystrom enters tonight's game in Calgary against the Ducks with a 3-game goal scoring streak for the first time as an NHL'er. Another dynasty relative, Brett Sutter (nephew of Brent/Duane and son of Darryl) may also be in the line-up. Brett was recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) today. Brent Sutter will make his first visit to Long Island as the Flames' coach.

Jeff Tambellini is of course also the son a Dynasty member.
