It's not being billed that way, but this is truly Islander Week on NHL Network as the Isles will win the Stanley Cup over and over again this week.
NHL Network is in the process of running every Cup clincher for the last 35 years and this week's games are 1980-1984, with the Isles winning four of them, before the dynasty is finally stopped in 1984.
The games air at 8:00pm on NHL Network (with repeats overnight and the following morning at 9am (8am on Saturday)) . (These appear to be full game broadcasts --not condensed to 2 hrs. Tonight's 1980 Game 6 is 3 1/2 hours long)
For less nostalgic fans, relive the "Shawn Bates gane" from the 2002 playoffs. That airs tonight at 8:00 on MSG+.
