Young JT

From Elias:

John Tavares scored the first overtime goal of his NHL career to earn the
Islanders a 2-1 win at Toronto. Tavares, who turned 20 years old last month
(Sept. 20), is the youngest player to score an overtime goal for the Islanders
since Feb. 10, 2000, when Tim Connolly set the team record with an OT winner
against Tampa Bay at age 18.

From Eric:

Tavares is the 4th youngest player in Islander history to score an overtime
goal.
Tim Connolly (18 yrs, 279 days) 2/10/00 vs Tampa
Mathieu Biron (19 yrs, 275 days) 1/29/00 @ San Jose
Bryan Berard (20 yrs, 21 days) 3/26/97 @ Buffalo
John Tavares (20 yrs, 28 days) 10/18/10 @ Toronto

(If Niederreiter were to score an OT goal any time this season, he would become
the youngest. If he were to do so anytime NEXT season, he would be younger than
all but Connolly)
