Nino was credited with an unassisted goal at 9:21 of the first period and then
added an assist 27 seconds later as Switzerland built a 4-0 lead after one
period, and hung on to defeat Germany 4-3. Both of his points came on the power
play.
Of the 22 players on the Swiss team, only 4 are younger than Nino -- one by only
a matter of days.
The Swiss have round-robin games on Tuesday/Thursday before facing the US in
their final round robin game on New Years' Eve. The NY Eve gave will be shown
on NHL Network.
