Nino Niederreiter had an assist on the tying goal; he was stopped in his
shootout attempt.
Nino, the Swiss captain, finishes the tourney with 2 goals and 2 assists in 6
game. (Only one teammate, Inti Pestoni, had more goals or points.) Nino
finished with a team-high 26 shots on goal.
Niederreiter will now rejoin the first place Portland Winter Hawks, who lead the
Western Conference with 53 points. (Only Kamloops has more: 61)
The other three Isles prospects will play today as the medals are decided.
Calvin deHaan and Casey Cizikas play for Gold for Canada tonight; Brock Nelson
plays for the US in the Bronze Medal this afternoon.
