Robin Lehner set for first NHL start

Looks like 19 year old Robin Lehner will make his first NHL start tonight at the
Coliseum against the Isles. He appeared in two games earlier this season in

relief without allowing a goal.

He is the youngest goalie to start a game since Jonathan Bernier played in 4
games for the Kings in September/October 2007. Bernier is the only other goalie

since the lockout to start in goal in an NHL game as a teenager.

Before Bernier, the last teenager to start an NHL game was Marc-Andre Fleury,
who started 20 games in 2003-04. Prior to that the last two teens were Dan
Blackburn with the Rangers and Rick DiPietro.

Old man Kevin Poulin (15 months older than Lehner) apparently will go for the
Isles. As Brian Compton noted earlier today, the two goalies combined are
younger than Dwayne Roloson.
