Howe about Hamonic?

Travis Hamonic recorded his first career three-point game, tallying a goal and
two assists before he was ejected in a second period scrum.

With the scrum, he completed the Gordie Howe hat trick (goal/assist/fight).

He is the first Islander to do since Mike Comrie did so on December 29, 2008 at
Madison Square Garden and the first Islander defensemen to do so since Andy
Sutton accomplished the feat exactly one year earlier (12-29-07) against the
Devils at the Coliseum.

The last Islander to do so against Pittsburgh was Steve Thomas on December 19,
1993 at the Igloo.
