The Young Get Younger

With Mark Katic in the lineup tonight, the 20 Islanders that I would expect to
dress (excluding Rob Schremp) are an average age of 24.50 as of today. That
works out to an average birthdate of 8/25/1986 -- 13 days older than Andrew
MacDonald (ie MacDonald, not McDonald, is of average age on this team).

Katic gives the Isles 5 players younger than 22 -- he is 1 day younger than Matt
Martin.Bailey, Tavares, and Hamonic are the other under 22's on the active
roster.

This gorup is significantly younger than the roster that the Isles had in early
January, at the time of Poulin's recall.
