Grabner'/Nielsen's shorties

Michael Grabner's goal last night was his 5th SH goal of the year. "PuckDaddy"
noted that he is just two shy of the NHL record, set by Jordan Staal (7) in
2006-07.

Only three rookies in NHL history have scored more than 5 SH goals:

Jordan Staal (7) 2006-07 Pittsburgh
John Madden (6) 1999-00 New Jersey
Gerry Minor (6) 1980-81 Vancouver

Prior to this season, only 13 times in Isles history had a player scored as many
as 5 SH goals. It had been done by 10 players, including Butch Goring three
times and Bob Bourne twice.

This season, both Grabner (5) and Frans Nielsen (6) have both tallied five
shorthanded goals.
