The Isles have had at least 40 shots in consecutive games for the first time since January 2-4, 2007.
(With thanks to Elias, and As Seen on MSG+): It's the first time the Isles have had consecutive 40 shot winning games since January 9-11, 1986 . (The Isles won those games by a combined score of 17-2)
The Bruins suffered their first regulaion loss when leading after two periods (25-1-1).
While Michael Grabner continues to improve his Rookie-of-the Year candidacy, Brad Marchand was benched in the 3rd period by Claude Julien.
