Ryan Kesler was a runaway winner for the Selke award.
However, the Isles dynamic defensive duo of Frans Nielsen and Michael Grabner both finished in the top 20.
Ironically, Nielsen finished 6th despite not getting a single 1st place vote (out of at least 126 votes cast). Grabner received only two votes total, but one was for 1st place-- he finished 20th in the balloting.
One would expect that as the team improves so may the balloting for both players.
