Isles announced that Evgeni Nabokov has a groin injury and is out indefinitely. Arthur Staple speculates that it is a 3-4 week injury, which will keep him out until mid-December. By those estimates, he will be unavailable for the next 11-14 games.
With Mikko Koskinen now playing in Finland, it means that the Isles now have two goalies on Long Island with Poulin and Nilsson playing in Bridgeport.
Funny how these things work out sometimes.
