48 hours ago the Isles had three goalies on their roster. With Evgeni Nabokov out indefinitely with a groin injury, now comes word that Al Montoya is day-to-day with a strained hamstring (which may explain why he didn't dress and appear on the bench on Thursday).
So Rick DiPietro is the only healthy goalie on the NHL roster, and an organization that had 6 seemingly healthy goalies a week ago, now has only 3.
Kevin Poulin was brilliant tonight, making 42 saves (and earning 1st star) in an OT loss to Connecticut. Either he or Anders Nilsson will likely get the call to back up DiPietro on 18's night tomorrow. The Sound Tigers are home Saturday night and Sunday so it won't be an issue getting one of the goalies to Long Island.
