Pandolfo out -- More shorthanded time for Grabner?

Isles are tweeting that Jay Pandolfo will be out 4-6 weeks with a broken foot.

Pandolfo, who will turn 37 two days after Christmas, has 1 goal (his 100th in the NHL) and 0 assists this season.

Pandolfo has seen the 2nd-highest shorthanded ice-time among Isles forwards-- only Frans Nielsen has seen more.  He has been on-ice for 8 opponent power play goals -- highest on the team (three others with 7).

Perhaps with Pandolfo's absence, Michael Grabner will see more time on the PK.  Isles have allowed only 1 power play goal this season with Grabner on the ice  (among forwards, he's third to Nielsen and Pandolfo in shorthanded ice time), which he offset on Saturday with the game winning tally while shorthanded.  Grabner had similar numbers last season: he played 116:20 shorthanded -- the Isles allowed 7 PP goals when he was on the ice.  He alone scored 6 shorties and also added an assist while shorthanded.
