Some more Hamonic numbers

Travis Hamonic has been +3 three times since December 29th.  He is the first Islander defender to have three +3 or better games in less than three weeks since Adrian Aucoin did it 11/3-11/6-11/13, 2003.  Before Hamonic's hot stretch, the Isles had had only three +3 games by a defender this season (2 for Eaton, 1 for Mottau).

Hamonic was -10 at the end of November, but was +6 in December and is +4 so far in January,

He was +8 in the three games this week (a week in which the Isles scored ten goals, excluding a power play tally) and is +12 in the last five games on Coliseum ice. Hamonic has been on ice for each of the last nine Islander goals.

It will be interesting to see if those numbers merit Hamonic one of the NHL's 3 Stars of the Week when they are awarded Monday.
