The Kings have recalled Jordan Nolan from Manchester (NH) of the AHL.
With Jarett Stoll being placed on IR today by the Kings, Ted's son could make his NHL debut at the Coliseum tomorrow.
Per the Kings website:
"Nolan, 22, has 22 points (9-13=22), 119 penalty minutes and a plus-6 rating in 40 games with Manchester this season. His 119 penalty minutes are second on the team (tied for 11th in the AHL). Nolan also has a club-leading two short-handed goals this season. The 6-3, 227-pound native of St. Catharines, Ontario spent last season with Manchester before turning pro late in the 2009-10 season with Ontario (ECHL). Nolan was originally selected by the Kings in the seventh round (186th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft."
The Kings also have a website feature on the Backman family ... the family that Jonathan Quick and Matt Moulson both married into.
