The Chase for 8th

It was a pretty good night for the Isles' playoff hopes as three teams between them and 8th place Winnipeg played, and none of them won.

Washington lost in OT to Carolina, while Toronto and Tampa suffered regulation losses at home to Boston and Ottawa.
