That all defense lineup that Capuano used in the 2nd period is actually something he's tried before, according to Sound Tiger beat-man extraordinare Mike Fornabaio.
He used it in a 2007 game in Bridgeport -- Wade Dubielewicz was in goal -- two weeks later he was poking the Isles into the playoffs.

Mike also noted in his twitter feed (@fornabaioctp) that Cappy had told him he had done it in the ECHL as well.
By the way, Bridgeport's magic number for clinching a playoff spot is 3 -- could happen as early as Wednesday, and their magic number for clinching the division is 9 (the AHL season goes a week longer than the NHL season). The Sound Tigers have won five straight, with Kevin Poulin stopping 183 of 197 in the five games. Poulin was 7-12-0 when the calendar turned, but is 15-5-4 in 2012.
