The Royals, a U-16 Tier 1 squad, rallied from an early 1-0 deficit to defeat the Dallas Stars Elite 5-1 on Sunday in Williamsville, NY to earn the National title.
The Royals are led in part by Buffalo-native Justin Bailey, who lived with LaFontaine during the season. Bailey had 2 goals and an assist in the Championship game.
