For now, Charles is saying IceWorks in Syosset but IceWorks is a schlep to Brooklyn (although really no more than Greenburgh, NY to MSG)
One possibility: Brooklyn has a facility with 2 ice rinks right off the Belt Parkway: Aviator Sports & Recreation.
There's even an Islander connection there: former Islander owner Steven Gluckstern was part of the original ownership that opened the facility about 7 years ago.
Of course, there's a Ranger connection too. MSG purchased an interest in the facility shortly after it opened.
I don't believe that either connection exists today.

Eric, why wouldn't they continue to practice at IceWorks? They still want to draw from the Long Island base. The one thing might be that they assume young, hip players want to live in Brooklyn or Manhattan, and won't want to go out to Syosset for practice. But I don't think a move away from IceWorks is necessary.
