A Devil of a streak

The Devils have held the Isles to exactly 1 goal in five straight games.

3/4/2012 Vs New Jersey 1 0 W
3/8/2012 @ New Jersey 1 5 L
3/10/2012 Vs New Jersey 1 2 L
4/3/2012 @ New Jersey 1 3 L
1/19/2013 Vs New Jersey 1 2 L

They are the first opponent to have a streak like that against the Isles since Carolina in 1998-1999.

It's the 5th time in Isles history that an opponent has held the Isles to one goal or less in at least 5 straight games.

Philadelphia did it in a club record 6 games (10/13/73-11/3/74).  The first game of that streak marked both Al Arbour and Denis Potvin's Islander debuts
The Rangers (in the first 5 games they ever played: 10/21/72-2/10/73) , North Stars (1/13/73-12/26/73) and Hurricanes (11/28/98-10/30/99) all had five game streaks against the Isles.
