5-on-5 play and ENGs leads to ugly +/-

5 players in the NHL have +/- of -11 or worse, and 4 of them are Islanders:

-12  Hamonic, MacDonald

-11  Boyes, Streit, and Florida's Stephen Weiss

When you take into account empty-net goals, Boyes' and Streit's +/- are far less ugly than Hamonic and MacDonald.

Boyes has been on for all six ENGs while Streit has been on for 5.  MacDonald and Hamonic were each on for 1 ENG against.

The ENGs have also hit Tavares and Moulson's +/-.  Both players have been on for 5 ENG's (all but the February 3rd game vs NJ).

All six ENGs allowed by the Islanders have come in February.
