It will be the first time an Isles regular season broadcast has been heard on a New York City station since WBBR (1130) carried the Isles for three seasons: 2005-2006 to 2007-2008. Both game 5 and game 6 of last year's playoff series vs. Pittsburgh aired on a NYC station with WEPN (ESPN 98.7) carrying game 5 and WFAN (660/101.9) airing game 6.
