History for Visnovsky

Lubomir Visnovsky's assist on Cal Clutterbuck's empty-net goal allowed him to set an unusual Islander record.

The assist was Lubo's third of the night, giving him his first 3-assist game in over 7 years (3-12-07 for LA vs. Edmonton).

At 37 years, 216 days, Visnovsky is the oldest player in Islander history to record three assists in a game.
Best I can tell, the only other Islander to have a 3-point game after his 37th birthday is Doug Weight, who had a goal and two assists on October 9, 2010 in the season-opener against Dallas; Weight was 39 years, 261 days old when we did so.
