Kyle Okposo's big week (three multi-point games) has resulted in Okposo earning the NHL's 2nd Star.
Goaltenders Sergei Bobovsky and Antii Niemi were the 1st and 3rd Stars.
Okposo went 1-6-7 in the week and is currently tied with Tyler Seguin for 4th place in NHL scoring (69 points).
Kyle's 69 points have come with him playing in 68 of the Isles' first 69 games, missing just the January 6th game vs. Dallas due to the birth of his daughter. In the past 20 years, the only Islander to record at least 82 points (one for each game on a full schedule) is Zigmund Palffy, who did so three times.
