The 4 Isles goals by the 10:54 mark on Tuesday marked the earliest 4-goal lead in Isles history.
Elias notes that only once before had the Isles scored 4 goals faster from the start of a game -- it came in the first 10:33 on 2/25/81 at Calgary -- but it was only enough for a 1-goal lead

(The Isles would eventually lose this game 11-4, allowing 2 goals in the second period and six goals (all in the final 8:45) in the third. It is the only time in Islander history that the Isles have allowed 11 goals in a game.)
Griffin Reinhart's 21-year old dad (Paul Reinhart) had two assists later in that game for a 3-point game (1-2-3). Griffin wouldn't enter the world for another 13 years (1-24-94).
Two nights after the game in Calgary, the Isles would win in Vancouver, starting the only 8-game road winning streak in franchise history.
