Young Get Younger

John Persson has been recalled from Bridgeport and is headed to Tampa to join the Isles.

Since the team is heading home after the game the logical conclusion is that if he makes it to Tampa on time, he very well could make his NHL debut tonight.

Kyle Okposo has been playing through a lower-body injury so it's possible that he would be the player that Persson would replace.
(@StapeNewsday Persson due to arrive in Tampa by gametime. Would presume Okposo can't go tonight.)

Assuming the Isles go with the same roster otherwise, the average age of the 20 Isles would drop to 25.31 (meaning that Thomas Hickey would be an average-aged Islander) and the average age of the 18 skaters would be 24.64.

Again, if Persson plays and Okposo doesn't, the Isles will use only 6 skaters with at least 200 NHL games of experience, 3 between 100-130 games, and 4 skaters between 27-62 games and five others with 14 games or less.

This group will be looking for:
1. The 1400th regular season win in franchise history
2. To go over NHL .500 on the road (currently 17-17-1)
3. Improve on their 13-4-1 record in their last 18 road games.  No Isles team has EVER earned 29 points over 19 consecutive road games in one season, which is what the Isles will be with a win tonight.
