From the geniuses at the Elias Sports Bureau:
<<(The Isles) are the first NHL team to win their first nine games in a season decided after the 60th minute, breaking the mark set by the Canadiens in 2009-10 (first eight), and they've tied the mark for the most consecutive wins in such games at any point in a season, a record set by the 2006-07 Canucks and previously equaled by the 2009-10 Coyotes and 2010-11 Lightning.>>
Three of those nine wins have come in overtime, while six others have come in shootouts.
Going back to last season (when the Isles won consecutive shootouts to end the campaign), the Isles have now won 11 straight games that have been tied after 60 minutes (3 in overtime and 8 in shootouts).
