Two quick personal notes and some bonus Skinny

1.  Thanks to all who have already participated and will participate in the shirt sale based on "It Happened at the Coliseum".  Along with IslesBlog, we have raised over $2,000 for Make-A-Wish(R) Metro New York already and I can't tell you how much that thrills me.  You can participate here: It Happened At The Coliseum

2. Right as I was going away on vacation, the folks at Islander Insight published a Q&A piece on me -- you can read it here: When You Need To Know More, Islanders Hornick Excels -   Thanks to Andy, & Joe!

And with that out of the way -- two quick notes that are more #Skinny- ish.

Kael Mouillierat last night became the first Islander wearing #48 to record a point (tallying both a goal and an assist).  Kenny Albert noted to me today that Oscar Lindberg, who made his NHL debut with the Rangers on Tuesday is the first #48 in NYR history.  Since the Devils don't routine issue numbers in the 40's (and have never had a 48), Mouillierat is now the highest scoring #48 in NY-area hockey history.

And Finally...as I noted on Twitter earlier Wednesday,
Math humor: Yesterday @ledpipe08 got his piece of the pi(e); he also played his 314th consecutive regular season game. #Isles
