The Isles have now outscored their opponents 26-18 in the third period...This was the second largest crowd to see the Islanders at Barclays Center (15,795 on Opening Night)…Kyle Okposo's assist on Nelson's first goal was his team-leading 13th; he now has assists in four straight games(0-6-6)…Brendan Gallagher extended his point streak to seven games with the EN goal, but the Isles ended Max Pacioretty's streak at six…Travis Hamonic's goal was his first since March 21st and the 8th by an Islander defenseman this season… Nelson's second goal was scored 4-on-4; the Isles have scored 3 goals and allowed 0 in 4-on-4 play this season…Six of Nelson's 14 points have been recorded in the last 5 games…The Isles are 0-2-1 on Friday's at home; the final Friday home game is on December 4th vs. St. Louis…Thomas Greiss was charged with the loss in relief; he has allowed three goals in five periods in his two regulation losses this season.
