Mark Letestu scored the only goal of the shootout as the Edmonton Oilers rallied from 2-0 and 3-2 deficits for a 4-3 victory over the Isles before a crowd of 13,862 at Barclays Center.
Nick Leddy scored just 13 seconds into the game for the Isles; it was the team's earliest goal since John Tavares scored 11 seconds into a 6-5 defeat to the Rangers on February 16, 2015. It was the 8th straight game that the Isles' defense had scored, establishing a new club record.

Season Series Stats

Bridgeport split a pair of games this weekend, defeating Hartford 5-4 on Friday on an overtime goal by Adam Pelech, and then dropping a 7-1 decision to Wilkes Barre-Scranton. The Sound Tigers, 6-4-0 on the season, are off until Friday when they travel to Syracuse.
Christopher Gibson has all six wins for the Sound Tigers (6-0-0, 2.52 GAA) while Bracken Kearns leads the team in scoring (5-6-11) and is tied with Michael dal Colle for the goal scoring lead (5).

The Isles conclude the homestand as they host the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks are 0-7-1 in their last 8 games, including a 6-3 loss in Toronto on Saturday night.
The Isles have lost four straight home games to Vancouver (0-1-3) dating back to a 2-1 shootout win on November 17, 2008. The last Isles regulation win at home over Vancouver was on December 3, 2002; the Canucks are 5-0-2 in 7 trips since then.
