Andrew Ladd and Anders Lee scored third period goals to erase a 2-0 deficit, but the St. Louis Blues got shootout tallies from Brayden Schenn and Vladimir Tarasenko to earn the extra point, as they defeated the Isles 3-2 before a crowd of 10,637 at Barclays Center.

The Isles begin a four-game road trip on Wednesday as they face the Anaheim Ducks in the first of three consecutive games in California.
The Isles own four consecutive wins over the Ducks and three consecutive wins in Anaheim, but it hasn't been easy. Josh Bailey scored in overtime to win the home opener against the Ducks last year, and then Nick Leddy scored in the 14th round of the shootout to win the longest shootout in Islander history.
