With the Flames eliminated from the playoffs, the Isles not only will receive a 2018 lottery pick (1st round) and a 2018 2nd round from Calgary, the Isles now own Calgary's 2nd pick in 2019 (and will send the Flames their 4th pick in 2019).
The additional 2nd round pick would have been in 2020 had the Flames made the playoffs because Calgary would have owed their 2019 pick to Arizona (Mike Smith deal). The Flames will now send a 3rd round pick to Arizona (either this year or next).
As of right now, the Isles own 4 of the first 43 picks in the June draft.
