Tyler Johnson scored the winning goal with 1:26 to play to break a 2-2 tie and Steven Stamkos completed matters with an empty netter as the Tampa Bay Lightning overcame two goals by Josh Bailey to defeat the Islanders 4-2 before a crowd of 19,092 at Amalie Arena.
The loss snaps the Isles' seven-game (5-0-2) point streak and their three-game road winning streak.

The Isles head to Sunrise, Florida to face the Panthers on Saturday night.
The Panthers will be honoring Bill Torrey as part of their Legacy Night series as the franchise is celebrating their 25th anniversary.
It's the second meeting of the season between the teams; the Panthers rallied for a 3-2 overtime win in Brooklyn 2 ½ weeks ago.
The Isles have had more (regular season) success against the Panthers in Florida in recent years, earning points in six straight games (3-0-3) The Isles are 6-2-3 in their last 11 regular season games in South Florida.
