Brock Nelson and Anthony Beauvillier scored second period goals to break a 1-1 tie as  the Isles extended their winning streak to three games with a 3-1 victory over the Arizona Coyotes before a crowd of 11,640 at Gila River Arena.  

Robin Lehner made 35 saves to record his first win since October 30th; Joshua Ho-Sang scored his first NHL goal in over a year as the Isles improved to five games over .500 for the first time this season.

The Skinny    
The Isles have won three straight on the road for the second time this season…Anthony Beauvillier scored for the fourth time in five games and the tenth time in the last 16 games; he has 28 goals in 2018, matching Anders Lee's total for the calendar-year club lead…Joshua Ho-Sang's goal was his first in the NHL since last Thanksgiving Eve… The Isles killed the opponent's first power play goal for the first time in four games... The Isles are all along in third place, and move within one point of second place Columbus... The Isles won 3 of 6 face-offs on the power play and have won 27 of 38 on the power play over the last six games after winning only 20 of 43 over the prior nine games…Brock Nelson led the Isles with five shots…Luca Sbisa recorded a career-high seven hits…The Isles have now won an NHL-high 15 games when outshot, one more than Toronto for the most in the NHL…The Isles remain just one point off last season's pace; including shootout winners they have scored 22 fewer goals and allowed 21 fewer goals than last year's first 33 games…The Isles have earned 19 points in 17 road games this season; they had only 19 points through 23 road games last season. It's the first time that they have been two games over NHL .500 on the road this late in the season since they ended the 2016-17 season with a 19-17-5 record… Ryan Pulock had two assists for the second straight game; he became the 43rd defensemen in club history to record 50 career points…The Isles have now swept three sets of back-to-backs this season (@PHL-@CAR, @NJ – Vs. CAR, @COL-@ARI) and are 4-0-0 on the back-end of back-to-backs for the first time since 2008.

Season Series Stats
The Isles lead the season series one game to none (and 2 points to 0).  The season series will conclude at the Coliseum on March 24th. 

The Isles are now 6-1-2 in the last ninr games vs. the Coyotes, however this was the Isles' first win in Arizona since a 1-0 shutout behind Jaroslav Halak on November 8, 2014; Frans Nielsen had the only goal in that game. 

On the Farm 
Bridgeport, and reigning AHL Player of the Week Michael Dal Colle get back to action on Wednesday as they begin a three-game road trip Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday.

Bridgeport is 17-8-3-1 and has earned points in 16 of their last 19 games (13-3-2-1) overall and in 14 straight home games (11-0-2-1). The Sound Tigers will finish their pre-Christmas schedule with a pair of games in Charlotte on Friday and Saturday.

The Isles look to earn a split of the season series when they face the Golden Knights in Vegas on Thursday.  Vegas defeated the Isles 3-2 in Brooklyn last week.
