Funny Stat Note From Friday

Apparently sometime after the game, the scorer in Carolina adjusted the Hurricanes' shot total from the 39 I originally posted in The Skinny to 40.

Not a big deal, except the Isles finished the night with 19 shots, marking the first time the Isles have ever been outshot 19-40.

(There was one game (3/8/2003 vs. NJ) that they outshot the opponent 40-19, but that was a Devil team on the way to their third Stanley Cup, and the Isles lost that game 4-2.)
