Jared McCann and Vince Dunn scored 2:21 apart in the third period to break a scoreless tie as the Seattle Kraken blanked the Islanders 3-0 before a sellout crowd of 17,255 at UBS Arena.
Philipp Grubauer made 19 saves to record the first shutout in Kraken history as the Isles hit the All-Star Break one game below NHL-.500 (16-17-6).
