Nick Suzuki scored his third career overtime goal 2:39 into the extra session as the Montreal Canadiens edged the Isles 2-1 before a crowd of 21,105 at Centre Bell. 

Patrik Laine made his Canadiens debut and scored the game's opening goal on the power play; Anders Lee knotted the game with 1:05 to play in the middle period. 

The Isles are 9-10-7 on the season; they return home to host Seattle in a game streaming nationally on Thursday.

On the Farm   
Bridgeport fell to 5-11-1-2 with a 3-2 home-ice loss to Belleville on Sunday as the Senators rallied from a 2-0 deficit. Liam Foudy and Travis Mitchell scored for the Baby Isles. 

Brian Pinho leads the team with 11 goals and 17 points. Chris Terry's 14 assists continue to pace the Baby Isles in that category.

Bridgeport hosts Hartford on Wednesday.

Season Series Stats
The season series is even 1 game to 1 (and 3 points to 3). The teams will meet March 20th at UBS Arena to decide the season series. 

The Isles are 0-2-2 in their last three trips to La Belle Province but have won the last four meetings at UBS Arena.

The Isles look to earn a split in the season series as they host the Kraken.

The Isles grabbed a 2-1 lead in Seattle on Brock Nelson goal, but Jared McCann answered just 37 seconds later, setting the stage for a Jamie Oleksiak goal that the Isles disputed for goalie interference. 

The Isles are 1-1-1 at home, and 2-3-2 all-time, against the Kraken. The Isles are winless in their last three games against the Kraken (0-1-2).

Bob Wischusen, Ray Ferraro, and Emily Kaplan will have the national call for ESPN+.
